判断なんて出来ないし、したくない。

裁判官を父に持つ私は、
幼い頃から
常識、道徳、規律、世間体、、、
たくさんの鎖に
がんじがらめに縛りつけられて育った。
愛しているがゆえの
愛されたいがゆえの
その固く結ばれた鎖は
もがけばもがくほど
キツくキツく縛られていった。
耐え難く、重い、鎖の世界は
初めての挫折まで続いた。
高校に入って間もない頃
唯一の心の拠り所であった母が
家を出ていった。
縛られて硬くなった心が、
激しく強い音をたてて、ひき裂けた。
これ以上傷つきたくないと思った。
誰にも心を開かず
ましてや、本当の気持ちなんて
誰にも知られないようにしよう。
そう決めた。
真っ黒な服で武装して
心とは反対の事を口にした。
権力、体制、組織、、、
壊してしまえと思った。
自分で自分を傷つけ
自分が自分をわからなくなって
世の中の全てが
なくなってしまえばいい、とさえ思った。
その果てに
警察でお世話になることになり
その時、助けてくれたのが
弁護士の福多さん。
私の恩人であり、師匠でもある。
このとき福多さんが言った言葉が、

君の思う通りに生きたらいい。
シンプルな言葉が
胸に響いた。
そうなんだ、それでいいんだ。
そう思った瞬間、
水の入ったコップに映る
厚化粧の自分の顔が
ピエロのように見えた。
恥ずかしくなった私は
手洗いに行って、
汚い顔を思い切り洗い落とした。
